It certainly is a brave new age that librarians live in. We are on the edge of a very exciting era and it's great that the State Library of NSW has provided such an excellent learning tool.
Hi Carolyn Interesting that you chose the Gegarin rocket as an image to link two of the most powerful moments in Space Exploration. Before Gagarin climbed aboard the rocket, he said he was glad to, "meet nature face to face, in an unprecedented encounter." I guess in exploring Web 2.0 we are facing “technology” in an unprecedented encounter. I’m sure our progress will be momentous too, when we can finally “land” amongst the world we are exploring, and, by sharing information, imparting knowledge, and creating meaningful partnerships within our common communities we will achieve “one giant leap”.

A great shot you chose to illustrate your blog name. I am looking forward to seeing some shots of the girls

Oops.... I mean Gagarin. All this technology still won't help my spelling
That's one excellent photograph and great representation of your blog's beginning. You have a great blog by the way!
